Rambynas Regional Park was established in 1992 in western Lithuania, on the right bank of the Nemunas River, to protect the landscape of the lower Nemunas valley. It covers about 4,786 hectares, centered on Rambynas Hill - a site sacred to the ancient Balts, tied to Lithuanian and Lithuania Minor folklore and traditional Midsummer (Rasos) celebrations.
