Tyrų tako apžvalgos bokštelis

Apžvalgos vieta, Klaipėdos apskritis

A 15-meter observation tower marks the end of the Tyrai trail (Tyrų takas), a 6-kilometer round-trip walking route that starts roughly halfway between Priekulė and Dreverna, where the road crosses the King Wilhelm Canal. The path crosses three distinct ecosystems of the Tyrai wetland before reaching the tower, which looks out over the Curonian Lagoon and the grey dunes of the Curonian Spit National Park. The surrounding Tyrai area is known for year-round birdlife, and the trail is walkable by the whole family, though forest and meadow stretches can get wet and slippery.
