Akmuo „Milžinas“

Graži vieta, Tauragės apskritis

Known locally as the Giant, this cataclasized granite boulder rests within Pagramančio Regional Park near Tamošaičiai and Lylavėnai villages in Tauragė district, about 1.2 kilometers north of where the Lylava and Šaka rivers meet. Glacial ice carried the rock from Scandinavia during the last Ice Age, and it has been protected as a geological natural monument since 1964. It measures roughly 5 meters long and 3.5 to 4 meters wide, rising about 1.5 meters above the ground, with a natural hollow on its surface resembling a large footprint some 60 centimeters long, alongside three smaller, shallower indentations.
