Unveiled on November 24, 2017 near the Church of St. John the Baptist in Kuršėnai to mark the centennial of Lithuanian independence, these two plaques honor three recipients of the Cross of Vytis from the local independence struggle and 29 volunteers who fought in the 1919 to 1920 wars of independence.
