Ziķi is a working family farm in Zirņu parish, Saldus municipality, that combines dairy, fruit and grain farming with agritourism centered on African ostriches and pheasants. Visitors get guided, educational encounters with the birds alongside donkeys, llamas, a pony, nutrias, chinchillas, rabbits, sheep and goats, plus the option to view a cinema and photo-history collection kept on site. Admission for the animal visit alone runs 3 euros for adults and 2 euros for children, rising to 5 and 3 euros respectively when combined with the photo-history collection, with visits arranged in advance and a picnic area and children’s playground available by a pond.
