Paplūdimys, Latgale
The public beach here sits on the shore of Lake Medumi in Medumi village, Medumu pagasts, part of Augšdaugava municipality. Lake Medumi covers roughly 265 hectares and reaches a maximum depth of 25.3 meters, and its four islands have been protected as a botanical reserve since 1987. The surrounding shoreline and lake fall within both the Augšzeme protected landscape area and the Medumu Ezeraine nature park. Visitors can swim from the equipped beach or fish for pike, perch, bream and roach with a license issued by the Medumu Līcis fishing association.
