Lubāna mitrāju komplekss is a wetland complex of roughly 47,900 hectares around Lake Lubāns, Latvia's largest lake, spanning parishes in the Balvi, Gulbene, Madona and Rēzekne districts. It was added to the Ramsar list of internationally important wetlands in 2002, and in 2009 eleven separate nature reserves in the area were merged into the single Lubāna mitrājs nature reserve. The territory is roughly 41% forest, 23% open water, 23% bog and 10% sedge meadow, and includes three recognized Important Bird Areas. A visitor information centre operates at the Aiviekstes hidromezgls (hydro-engineering node) in Ošupe Parish, Madona Municipality.
