Lūkstas is a large lake in the Žemaitija region, about 2 km southwest of Varniai, within Varniai Regional Park. It is the only lake in Lithuania where amber washes up on shore, giving it a unique draw among anglers and collectors alike. The lake holds healthy populations of carp, pike, perch, and roach.
