This 1,360-hectare nature reserve, established in 1992 near Medininkai in Vilnius district, protects the meandering ancient valley of the small Kuosinė river. It covers several forests (Didžioji Kuosinė, Mažoji Kuosinė, Leoniškės, Norviliškės, Šumskas, Polubeliai) and includes two hillforts, Leoniškės and Didžioji Kuosinė.
