This viewpoint overlooks the Nemirseta dunes and sandy meadows near Palanga, a stretch of coast shaped by an ancient Litorina Sea cliff rising about 15 meters above sea level. The terrain's mix of parabolic dunes, coastal forest, and open sandy meadow supports an unusually rich mix of plants, including rare orchids and East Baltic endemic species. Late spring to midsummer (May-July) is the best time to catch the widest variety of flowering plants.
