A marked rest stop along the 3.2-kilometer Prelomčiškės kalvomis educational trail sits on the northwestern shore of Lake Dūsia in Lazdijai district, about 1.5 kilometers from the Prelomčiškė hillfort. The easy, circular route climbs roughly 25 meters above the lake to reach dry steppe meadows, a rare habitat in Lithuania, that bloom with snapdragons and vetch from late June through July. From the rest area, walkers get open views over Dūsia before continuing along the loop's mix of asphalt and forest path.
