Among Kražiai's historical landmarks stands the surviving building of a former Jesuit college dating to the early 17th century. Founded by the Jesuits in 1616, the college became a major center of education and religious life in Žemaitija, its complex once spanning about 4 hectares with 22 buildings serving various purposes.
