This beach lies on the northern shore of Rėkyva Lake, about 6 km south of central Šiauliai, in the Pabaliai neighbourhood. Rėkyva is Lithuania’s largest watershed lake, covering nearly 12 square kilometres with an average depth of 2 metres and a maximum of 4.8 metres. A dedicated bicycle path along Bačiūnų gatvė connects the Pabaliai district to the lakeshore, making the beach a popular recreation spot for Šiauliai residents.
