Paplūdimys, Laane-Virumaa
Facing the Gulf of Finland at the eastern edge of Lahemaa National Park, this beach sits where the Vainupea River meets the sea in Haljala Parish. A roughly 200 meter boardwalk links a lighthouse at the headland's tip to a changing cabin, and the shore is equipped with benches, dry toilets, and rubbish bins. Locally known as Suureliiva rand, it is considered one of the more popular beaches in Lääne-Virumaa, bordered by pine and mixed forest on its landward sides.
