The Palūšė oak is a truly venerable (400-year-old) tree: its crown supports the sky (height - 26 m), its trunk is girthful (circumference - 4.6 m). It was already a hundred years old when the Palūšė church was just beginning to rise from its foundations. And to this day, the oak diligently protects it from adversity.
