Built in 1865 as the Orthodox Church of the Transfiguration inside a converted distillery warehouse, this small but ornate brick building has a cruciform plan in simplified Neo-Byzantine style with a wooden bell tower. It functioned as an Orthodox church until the Soviet takeover; by 1962 its artworks had been dispersed to the Vilnius Art Museum and other institutions, and the building was repurposed first as a school dance hall, then as vegetable storage. Restored between 1989 and 2001, it now serves as an exhibition and concert venue administered by the Jurbarkas Regional Museum.
