Janapolis manor, near Traupis in what is now Anykščiai district, dates to the first half of the eighteenth century, when it belonged to the Counts Franckevičius-Radziminski family of the Trakai Voivodeship. The original complex held a brick manor house flanked by outbuildings and granaries, set in a roughly four-hectare English-style park with a linden-lined entrance avenue and two ponds formed by damming a stream. The residential manor building did not survive, but two Baroque octagonal granaries still stand, one of which reportedly served as a chapel according to an 1784 church inventory. The site has been listed in Lithuania's Cultural Values Register since April 19, 2005, covering about 8.6 hectares.
