Reached by gravel road from Otepää toward Kääriku, Harimäe campfire site sits in Mäeküla village within Otepää Nature Park in Valga County. RMK keeps it as a free roadside stop with a rain shelter for 8 to 10 people, an open fireplace, firewood, a dry toilet and room for up to ten tents. The adjacent 27.5 metre Harimäe observation tower gives views over the Otepää heights, the Valga slope and the Karula uplands.
