Järvere Beach

Paplūdimys, Louna-Eesti

This small sandy beach lies on Lake Vagula at Järvere, a village a short distance west of Võru town in southern Estonia. Vagula is the largest lake in the Võru area, covering roughly 519 hectares with a maximum depth of 11.5 meters, and its low, mostly sandy shoreline has long made it a favorite swimming and recreation spot for people from Võru. The beach itself is unsupervised, with no lifeguard on duty, offering a simple stretch of sand for wading and swimming rather than built up facilities.
