This Norway spruce grows in Rambynas Regional Park about 2 km southeast of Vilkyškiai, Pagėgiai municipality, and is unusual for splitting into roughly 18 separate trunks starting at just 80 cm above the ground. It stands about 32 meters tall with a base circumference of around 5 meters and is estimated to be 160-180 years old; one of its trunks broke off in a storm in November 2007. Local legend attributes its strange shape to gathering witches, and the tree was named Lithuania's Tree of the Year in 2017; it is a protected natural monument with a raised wooden walkway and viewing area built for visitors.
