An 8.5-metre observation tower on the northern shore of Matsalu Bay, Lääne County, rebuilt in 2003 and considered a notable birdwatching site in Europe. The tower overlooks coastal meadows and shallow bay waters that draw huge flocks of migrating swans, geese and waders. Late March to early May and August-September are the peak migration windows.
