Strung across the Jūra River on Jaunystės gatvė in Pajūris, this narrow wooden suspension footbridge sways underfoot with every step, the trait behind its local nickname, beždžionių tiltas, or "monkey bridge." It stands apart from the much larger concrete road bridge carrying route 165 between Šilalė and Šilutė over the same river a short distance away, a structure originally built in 1971 and demolished and rebuilt starting in 2022. The hanging footbridge remains a popular stop for visitors passing through this Šilalė district village.
