This trail runs through Pavilniai Regional Park near Rokantiškės and was created by the Verkiai and Pavilniai Regional Park directorate together with volunteers. It takes its name from the strielčiukai, sentries who once guarded a wooden hillfort that stood at this site, among the oldest and most notable in the area. The route leads hikers past the historic Rokantiškės hillfort grounds, tying the walk to this medieval defensive history.
