Belvederis Manor is a Romantic-style manor house from around 1830 on the Nemunas riverbank in Seredžius, its Italian-derived name meaning "beautiful view." Built by Kleopas Burba and reconstructed in 1880-1881 with elaborate interiors (mosaics, parquet floors, Louis XVI-style furniture), the site originally held a 16th-century Sapiega-family estate and later housed agricultural schools under Soviet rule before standing vacant for decades. Privatized and restored in 2005, it now hosts guided tours, art exhibitions and cultural events on weekends, with a local legend that its 12 doors, weekly-matching windows and 365 steps toward the river symbolize the calendar.
