Marked as trail L9, this roughly 4 to 5 kilometre linear route runs through the Paneriai Erosive Hills Landscape Reserve on the left side of the Neris valley, starting near the old Vilnius-Kaunas road at Titnago Street. Along the way walkers pass the Chapel of the Crucified Jesus, raised to commemorate an 1831 Uprising battle, plus several ancient burial mounds tucked into the forest. The route finishes at the Gariūnai viewpoint on Gariūnų gatvė, a suffosion-cirque slope that opens onto a wide panorama of Vilnius through the tree line.
