This former quarry near Uzvaras Līdumi in Olaine municipality, between Riga and Jelgava, was converted into a public recreation area with a roughly 2.8-kilometer gravel nature trail circling the flooded pit, suitable for strollers, bicycles, and rollerblades. Renovation works added a wooden pier on pilings, floating pontoon piers, seven picnic tables with three grills, eight benches, three sun loungers, a beach volleyball net, and football goals, while ten safety buoys mark the designated swimming area in the water.
