Baldone's White Palace park was laid out around 1901 alongside the Baltā pils, built as the residence of Baldone's forest master Ādams Mickēvičs. The dendrological park is protected for its collection of unusual trees planted more than a century ago, including larches, silver firs, cedar pines, Manchurian cork trees, and red oaks. Today the palace itself houses the Baldone Music School, and part of the grounds has become the school's sports field, while the rest still serves as public green space.
