Šilalės antrasis akmuo su dubeniu

Graži vieta, Klaipėdos apskritis

This is the second of two "dubenėtieji akmenys" (stones with a carved basin) near the village of Igariai, part of a documented pre-Christian ritual site. It stands about 160 m from the first basin stone and measures roughly 1.5 x 1.2 m, with a basin some 23-28 cm across carved into its upper edge. A 1970 dig near a nearby altar stone found traces of ritual fires mixed with amber, suggesting the site stayed in pagan use well after the Christianization of the region.
