Ubagų kalnas Stone is the largest stone in the Plateliai area, within Žemaitija National Park, near the Žvirgždė stream and Liepijai forest. It stands 1.20 m above ground, 5 m long and 3.40 m wide, with a maximum circumference of 12.90 m. According to legend, the stone bears a devil's footprint and was once used for pagan rituals. Count Szuazel reportedly tried to split the stone for barn-building material, but only managed to chip off the piece bearing the footprint, leaving the rest at the foot of Ubagų Hill. It was declared a natural heritage object in 2007.
