K. Dineikos sveikatingumo parkas

Graži vieta, Alytaus apskritis

A wooded health park in Druskininkai with roots going back to a 1925 sun-bathing park founded by physician Eugenija Lewicka; from 1952 it was developed by therapeutic-exercise pioneer Dr. Karolis Dineika into a Soviet-era physical culture park with solariums, acupressure paths, vertical baths, and aero-ionotherapy pavilions, eventually spanning about 20 hectares. Left neglected after independence, it was restored and reopened in 2015. Today visitors can stroll wooded paths and flower gardens, use outdoor exercise equipment, take cascading baths or a sauna, and drink herbal tea in the aero-ionotherapy pavilion; entry to the park itself is free, with only some specific treatments charged.
