KGB atominio bunkerio muziejus

Graži vieta, Kauno apskritis

Built six to seven metres underground as a Soviet-era civil defence shelter belonging to the former Aidas factory in Kaunas, this privately run museum opened in 2014 and now displays more than 1,200 functioning exhibits. Its holdings include concealed KGB and NKVD surveillance equipment, among them cameras hidden inside a necktie, a jacket button, and a cigarette pack, alongside gas masks, radiation meters, and Cold War-era communications gear described as one of the largest such collections in the Baltic states. Visits require advance booking by phone or email, and guided tours typically run around two hours.
