Atokvėpio vieta prie Rodų II koplyčios- mauzoliejaus

Iškylos vieta, Panevėžio apskritis

This fieldstone, gravel and brick chapel-mausoleum stands beside the Panevėžys-Kėdainiai road in Rodai II village, next to the rest area named after it. Designed by Italian architect L. C. Anikini for the Švoinickis noble family, it was built in 1861 as a burial site, holding the remains of family members including the artist and 1863-1864 uprising participant Romanas Švoinickis. Soviet authorities desecrated the crypt, tearing off the roof and scattering the remains, but the chapel was later restored and reconsecrated in 2000, and it still hosts services on the last Sunday of each month.
