The Kernavė viewing platform overlooks the Pajautos valley and its five hillforts, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2004 as the remains of Lithuania's last pagan state capital. The State Kernavė Cultural Reserve covers 194.4 hectares and includes 18 state-protected cultural heritage sites plus an archaeological museum.
