Iškylos vieta, Alytaus apskritis
Formed in 1968 by damming the Metelytė stream, a tributary of the Peršėkė River, Kumečių tvenkinys stretches about 0.79 kilometers north to south in the Alytus district, with Viešnagiai village on its western shore and Buckūnai on the eastern bank. Its average depth of roughly 2.3 meters, reaching 3.6 meters at its deepest point, draws anglers and casual swimmers alike. A rest area near the dam carries an information sign about the historic Meteliai manor, with woodland bordering the northern shore and farmland and meadows surrounding the rest of the reservoir.
