Despite the listing name "Janis Kalinics," this location is actually Dzīvo Sapņu Dārzs ("Garden of Living Dreams"), a direct-contact mini zoo in the centre of Ādaži, created by Jānis Kaļiņičs (hence the name mix-up). There are no fences between visitors and the animals, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and a pony, so children can walk among them and feed them with specially prepared food sold on site for 1 euro. Pony rides are offered on scheduled days in spring and summer; in winter only the rabbits remain on view. Entry is by donation.
