This small-leaved linden grew in Pavarės II village within Anykščiai Regional Park, near the Varius hydrographic reserve, and had stood an estimated 150 to 250 years, reaching about 23 meters in height with a trunk circumference near 4.75 meters. Anykščiai municipal government protected it as a botanical natural heritage object starting in 2003, one of seven safeguarded trees in the park, and its hollow trunk and six branched crown made it a well known local landmark. A storm broke the tree on August 22 to 23, 2026, and it could not be restored, so a visitor today would find it fallen rather than standing.
