Graži vieta, Vilniaus apskritis
Standing on the bank of the Strėva river in Semeliškės village, this wooden church traces its origins to a foundation granted by Grand Duke Alexander Jogailaitis in 1501-1502, making the parish more than five centuries old. The current structure, built around 1783 after earlier buildings burned down, is among the oldest wooden churches in Lithuania and has a rectangular plan with two bell towers and a three-nave interior. Its bell tower holds a bell cast in 1442, believed to be the second-oldest in the country, and the church houses notable artworks including a 19th-century Annunciation painting and a venerated image of Saint Roch.
