Unveiled on July 8, 2022 to mark what would have been theater director Eimuntas Nekrošius's 70th birthday, this bronze sculpture on John Paul II Square in Šiluva depicts the wooden chair his father made, brought from his childhood home in Pažobrys village, which became a recurring prop in his stage productions. Nekrošius (1952-2018) favored this square as a place for reflection. Sculptor Sergėjus Plotnikovas and architect Saulius Druskis created the work.
