A roughly 3.5-meter waterfall drops in two cascades through a small sandstone gorge near Vārme, formed after drainage ditches eroded exposed Devonian-age sandstone and dolomite close to the surface. Protected as a natural monument since 1977, the ravine has a simple recreation area nearby for picnics and bonfires, with mushroom and berry picking in summer. Water flow is strongest in spring after snowmelt or after heavy rain, while in winter the falls freeze into striking ice formations.
