Paplūdimys, Raplamaa
Öökulli järv began as an artificial pond dug in the park of Valtu manor, later enlarged during the Soviet era by connecting and deepening the old manor ponds into today's two-hectare reservoir with an average depth of 2.5 meters. A canal links the lake to the Vigala River, and it now serves as Rapla municipality's only public swimming spot, with the local government providing a toilet and covering waste removal each summer. After Canadian waterweed choked the lake and caused foul odors, a roughly 10,000-euro cleanup around 2014 drained the lake, removed the sediment, and stocked it with 21 grass carp to keep the vegetation in check.
