This rest spot sits along the 5 km Varnikų educational trail inside a roughly 611-hectare botanical-zoological reserve in Trakai Historical National Park, where nearly 1.5 km of the route is a wooden boardwalk crossing the Ilgelio wetland past four small lakes. The trail passes a 200-year-old oak grove near Lake Skaisčis and hosts ten rest stops with benches, three sheltered seating areas, three observation platforms, and a children's playground. The reserve shelters over 600 higher plant species, 16 of them listed in Lithuania's Red Book.
