Iisaku vaatetorn

Apžvalgos vieta, Ida-Virumaa

This 28-metre observation tower stands on Tärivere (Iisaku) hill, the highest natural point in Ida-Viru County at 94 metres above sea level, within Alutaguse National Park. In clear weather it offers views over the surrounding Alutaguse forests and bogs, reaching as far as the domes of Kuremäe (Pühtitsa) Convent and Lake Peipus. The current tower was built in 2018 after its predecessor was blown down by a storm in March 2017.
