Paplūdimys, Laane-Virumaa
Porkuni supelrand is a swimming beach on Porkuni Lake in Tapa municipality, Lääne-Viru County. The spring-fed lake drains partly through karst sinkholes, causing large water-level swings that have dried it out completely in past years, including 1998, 2003, 2006 and 2015. It is known for floating islands on its Suurjärv section and is the source of the Valgejõgi River. In summer the area offers boat and pedal-boat rental and a café.
