Graži vieta, Kurzeme
Standing on a square near the Saka river bridge in central Pāvilosta, this vessel is the only surviving RB-class fishing boat in Latvia, a type built in East Germany and once common in the local fleet, including the Dzintarjūra fishing collective that ran 16 such ships in the 1970s. Measuring 18.2 meters long, 5.22 meters wide and 2.5 meters high, it was handed over to the Pāvilosta local history museum in the early 1990s and restored in 2005 with Cultural Capital Foundation funding. It now stands as a memorial to the fishing families who built up the town.
