This apiary and farmstead in Zaļie Batņi, within Kaunatas pagasts near Rāznas National Park, occupies a former summer residence built in 1875 that has been converted into a working bee pavilion. Visitors book a guided excursion to learn about the biology of the bee colony, watch the beekeepers at work, and see the queen bee up close. Tours typically end with a tasting of pancakes and fresh honey in a room with an antique wood stove, followed by a chance to buy the farm's own certified organic bee products.
