Apžvalgos vieta, Kauno apskritis
This hillfort sits on the edge of the right-bank terrace of the Neris River between Domeikava and Radikiai, in Kauno rajono savivaldybė. Archaeological excavations from 1911 through 2001-2004 uncovered post holes, hearths, grinding stones, pottery, and animal bones, indicating the site was fortified from the first to early second millennium and settled through the 14th century. A concrete bunker built here in 1915 damaged the northwestern rampart, and the site has been a state-protected cultural monument since 2005.
