Iškylos vieta, Alytaus apskritis
This rest area sits by the Marcinkonys geomorphological reserve in Dzūkija National Park, home to Lithuania's largest continental (inland) dune complex. In 2023 the park cleared part of the surrounding forest so wind could once again reshape one of the dunes, and to expose sun-lit ground for reptile species that need it.
