This is a roughly 10 km route (with longer variants of about 15, 22 or 47 km) around Kāla Lake in Vestiena parish, Madona municipality, that can be walked, cycled or driven. It passes through hilly Vidzeme Highland terrain near Gaiziņkalns, with rest stops and information about the area's nature and history, and is known locally as a bilberry-picking route through the surrounding forest.
