Žygis, Ida-Virumaa
The hiking trail introduces low and transitional swamps and sandy ramparts. Sights are the high wooded sand ridges created by the retreat of Lake Peipsi and the mysterious salt marshes of Rüütli bog, which were created from sediments accumulated at the end of the ice age.
