Graži vieta, Kauno apskritis
Built between 1906 and 1932, this neo-Gothic cathedral with neo-Romanesque facade decoration and low side chapels bears the motto "Per crucem ad astra" ("Through the cross to the stars"). It houses the remains of Blessed Theophilus Matulionis in a dedicated chapel with a canonical painting and sarcophagus. It was elevated from parish church to cathedral status in 1932.
